Faster when it counts. Fewer changes that don't.
Most repricers change prices all day long. Watch closely and you'll see a lot of those changes win nothing. A listing walks from its min to its max and back, or cuts against your own second offer. ArgoDeck is a Buy Box repricer built to skip the moves that lose and make the ones that count.
It prices from the same numbers as your books
Most repricers only know the min and max you type in. ArgoDeck's repricer, inventory and profit reports all share one set of costs and fees, so the margin it protects is the margin you actually see in your profit.
It reacts the moment a price changes
Amazon sends ArgoDeck a notification every time an offer on your listing changes. ArgoDeck reprices right then, usually within seconds, instead of waiting for its next scheduled check like many repricers do.
It never fights your own listings
Have two SKUs on the same ASIN? Other repricers see your second offer as a competitor and undercut it. ArgoDeck knows both are yours, and if one of them holds the Buy Box, that's a win.
It waits for Amazon to catch up
For a while after a price change, Amazon can still show the old price. ArgoDeck doesn't react to that echo, so it doesn't undo its own changes.
It raises based on what has worked
When you hold the Buy Box, it only raises as far as that listing has held the box before. It never goes above the price Amazon will feature, or back to a price that got you suppressed this week.
It uses the price Amazon gives you
Amazon publishes the price at which your offer would be featured. ArgoDeck reads it and can move straight there, instead of guessing by undercutting the offer it can see.
It knows when a cut can't win
If the Buy Box winner ships today and you ship in a few days, a lower price won't win it. ArgoDeck holds instead of giving away margin.
It tells you why
Every price change, and every time it decided to hold, is logged with what the market looked like and the reason in plain English. No guessing what your repricer was thinking.
How ArgoDeck reprices your Amazon listings
ArgoDeck's Amazon repricing is fully automated, and every time a price might need to change, the same four things happen. It doesn't matter whether a competitor moved, a promotion started or you edited a strategy.
Amazon tells us something changed
ArgoDeck listens to Amazon's offer change notifications, so it knows within seconds when a competitor moves. Every listing also gets a full check every 15 minutes, just in case.
It figures out who you're really up against
Your strategy decides which sellers count, like featured sellers only, a minimum feedback score, Amazon itself, FBA or FBM. Backordered offers are ignored, and so are your own.
It picks a price between your min and max
Undercut, match or hold, always inside your min and max price, using Amazon's featured price when it has one.
It double checks, sends it and confirms
Right before the price goes out, a last check makes sure it's above your min price and still profitable. Then ArgoDeck reads the live price back to make sure Amazon actually applied it.
Min and max prices built from your real costs
Most repricing tools make you type in a min price for every SKU and keep it updated yourself. ArgoDeck works it out from numbers it already has, and updates it when Amazon changes a fee or you switch a listing to a different strategy.
Example numbers.
- Set profit your way. Each strategy sets its min and max as a profit margin, a fixed dollar profit or a return on investment, plus a hard profit floor it will never go under.
- Fees come straight from Amazon. They're quoted for each SKU and refreshed regularly. We never fill in a default fee, and referral fees that change with the price are handled.
- No cost, no repricing. If a listing doesn't have a cost yet, ArgoDeck leaves it alone and flags it, instead of pricing it on a guess.
- Changes wait for your OK. When a fee, cost or strategy change would move a min or max, you see it in Pending changes and can apply it, keep yours or undo it.
Repricing strategies
Put listings into a strategy and set the rules once. Move a listing to another strategy and its min and max prices update on their own.
Smart Buy Box targeting
Goes after the Buy Box against the sellers your rules let in, then raises carefully once you have it.
Lowest price
Stays at or below the lowest competing offer, inside your min and max.
Match Buy Box
Matches the current Buy Box price instead of undercutting it.
Sell through pacing
For private label and listings with no competition. Prices on how fast it's selling, so stock lasts as long as you want or sells out by a date.
Who you compete with
Featured sellers only, ignore backordered sellers, ignore low feedback sellers, compete with Amazon or not, and FBM sellers in or out on FBA listings.
How much to undercut
Separate amounts against regular sellers, Prime sellers and Amazon. Or build a Custom strategy and set every rule yourself.
What to do once you win
Raise toward the next competitor, match them or hold. When you're the only seller, it can hold, climb in small steps, or go to your max.
Promotions and old inventory
Short price moves that end on their own, so you never have to remember to switch them off. Before you start one, you see exactly which listings it touches and what each one would still make.
Lower the min price for a few days
Temporarily lower the min price on listings that lost the Buy Box, by an amount or down to a profit you choose, for 24 hours up to 7 days. Limit it to listings that can actually win, or include all of them.
Drop prices by an amount you pick
See how many listings can take the full drop and what the average drop really is. Leave out listings that sold in the last 30 days if you want.
Lower it a little every day
Inventory with no sale in 60, 90, 180, 365 or 455 days steps down each day toward the lowest price you accept, and can stop dropping once it sells.
- Pick listings your way. Start a promotion on a whole strategy, or filter by Buy Box status, price position, days without a sale or how far under the min price the winning offer is.
- See what you'd leave out. Listings a promotion can't reach are listed with the change that would bring them in.
- Track the result. While it runs you see Buy Box share before and during, units sold, profit and how much margin it cost. Extend it or stop it anytime.
Workflows that run on their own
Rules that keep your catalog on the right strategy without you checking it every week.
Inventory age rules
Move listings to another strategy once they reach an age you choose, or when Amazon flags them as excess. Rules can chain, so a listing steps from your normal strategy to a clearance one over time. Preview before you turn it on.
New listings get a strategy
Brand rules and SKU rules put every new listing on the right strategy the moment it shows up, with a default for everything else.
Out of stock pauses
A listing with nothing to sell stops repricing until stock is back, so it doesn't drift while you restock.
Buy Box analytics
See whether the repricer is working, in the numbers that matter.
Across your catalog
- Buy Box win rate over time, for the last day, week or month.
- How many listings are winning, suppressed or lost right now.
- Win rate by strategy, so you know which rules work.
- Price changes and units sold, side by side.
For each listing
- Share of time holding the Buy Box this week compared with the last 30 days.
- How often the Buy Box changes hands, and whether it's stable or unstable.
- Price history and where today's price sits between your min and max.
- Every decision with its reason, exportable to CSV.
Find the listings that need you
The listings page is built for working through a big catalog fast.
- Filters that answer real questions. Competitor under your min price by up to $5. Stock older than 180 days. Flagged as excess by Amazon. Sitting at the min price. No cost entered.
- Bulk actions. Move a selection to another strategy or switch repricing on or off for all of them at once.
- Pin a price. Hold a listing at a price for 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, a week or until you clear it. ArgoDeck warns you if the pin is outside your min and max.
- Ask Argo AI. Ask why a listing lost the Buy Box or what happened to its price this week, and get an answer from your own data.
A repricer that protects your profit
Anyone can win the Buy Box by selling at a loss. These rules are there so that doesn't happen.
Never below your min price
Every price is checked against your min price right before it's sent, no matter what triggered the change.
No raising right after a win
Once you win the Buy Box, ArgoDeck waits 3 hours before raising. In our testing, raising in the first hour lost the box much more often.
Suppressed Buy Box recovery
It moves to the price Amazon will feature. If Amazon doesn't give one, it lowers the price in small steps until you're featured again, and stops at your min price.
No price wars
If a competitor matches every cut, ArgoDeck stops cutting instead of following them down. A single change can't be more than 12%, and a listing changes at most 12 times a day.
Your price changes come first
If you change a price yourself in Seller Central, ArgoDeck notices and drops whatever it had planned instead of overwriting you.
One switch stops everything
Every repricer page has a stop switch. Turn it off and nothing is sent to Amazon until you turn it back on.
FBA and FBM repricing in one place
FBA and FBM have different costs, and treating them the same is where most profit math goes wrong.
FBA repricer
- The min price includes Amazon's FBA fee for that SKU.
- You can ignore FBM sellers, so a slow FBM offer doesn't drag your FBA price down.
- Units still on their way to Amazon are never cut.
FBM repricer
- The min price includes your shipping cost instead of an FBA fee.
- Prices are compared with shipping included on both sides.
- FBM orders close to their ship by date show up in Alerts before they count against you.
Switching from Aura or another repricer
Looking for an Aura alternative? You don't have to start from zero. During setup you upload the export from your current repricer or from InventoryLab, and your costs and min and max prices are matched to the listings ArgoDeck reads from your Amazon account. The one thing no repricer lets you export is the strategy rules, so you set those up once in ArgoDeck. Then you turn ArgoDeck on in three waves, so you can watch it work on a few listings before it takes over the rest. Changed your mind? You can put your old prices back.
Repricer questions
What sellers usually ask before they move their listings over.
How fast does the repricer react?
Usually within seconds. ArgoDeck listens to Amazon's offer change notifications, so when a competitor moves, it sees it right away. Every listing also gets a full check every 15 minutes, in case a notification is missed.
Why does ArgoDeck change prices less often than other repricers?
Because most price changes don't win anything. Think of a listing bouncing between its min and max all day, a cut against your own second offer, or a reaction to Amazon still showing the old price. Each one costs you margin or the Buy Box. ArgoDeck skips those and changes the price when it can actually make a difference.
Can it ever price below my cost?
No. Every price is checked against your min price right before it goes to Amazon, and the min price already includes your cost, Amazon's fees for that SKU and, for FBM, shipping. If a listing has no cost entered, it doesn't get repriced at all.
Does it work for FBM?
Yes. For FBM listings the min price includes your shipping cost instead of an FBA fee, and prices are compared with shipping included on both sides. You also decide, per strategy, whether FBM sellers count as competitors on your FBA listings.
What happens when my Buy Box is suppressed?
ArgoDeck moves to the price Amazon says it will feature. If Amazon doesn't give one, it lowers the price in small steps, waits to see each step go live, and stops once your offer is featured again. It never goes below your min price.
I have two SKUs on the same ASIN. Will they undercut each other?
No. ArgoDeck reads from Amazon which offer belongs to which SKU, so it never treats your own offer as a competitor. If your other SKU holds the Buy Box, ArgoDeck counts that as a win for the product.
Does it help private label listings with no competitors?
Yes. Sell through pacing prices a listing on how fast it's actually selling, so stock lasts as long as you want it to, or sells out by a date you pick. You can also schedule price changes, like a lower price every evening for two hours.
Can I switch from Aura or another repricer?
Yes. During setup you upload your Aura or InventoryLab export, and your costs and min and max prices are matched to the listings ArgoDeck reads from your Amazon account. Strategy rules aren't included in any repricer's export, so you set those up once in ArgoDeck. You then turn it on in waves, and you can put your old prices back if you change your mind.
Can I see why a price changed?
Yes. Every price change, and every time it decided not to change, is logged with what the market looked like and the reason, in plain English. You can export the log to CSV.
How much does the repricer cost?
It's included in every ArgoDeck plan, with no separate repricer fee. Sellers doing under $5K a month use it free.
